  • Staff share tools including the data binder, writing instruments, timers, flashcards, worksheets, and toys.

  • High touch surfaces including the doorbell, doorknobs, light switches, child safety gate/locks, and table and chairs in the teaching area(s).

COVID-19 Safety Plan:

  • Elimination: Limiting the number of individuals at the workplace at one time. Overlap sessions will include a maximum of ONE Behaviour Interventionists per session.

  • Engineering Controls: As sessions take place in your home, it is not feasible, nor appropriate to install barriers such as plexiglass.

  • Administrative Controls:

    • We will arrange the therapy room and teaching areas for appropriate physical distancing.

    • Everyone will maintain safe distancing at all times. Verbal and visual reminders for the student as appropriate.

    • Families are responsible for supplying liquid soap and clean hand towels/paper towel rolls. We will wash our hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers immediately at the start of the session, before and after breaks, and at the end of the session.

    • Commonly touched areas such as the teaching table and chairs are thoroughly sanitized before and at the end of each session.

    • Physical contact is not permitted.

    • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

    • Remove any unnecessary food/drinks during session time.
